INGREDIENTS:

Bread:

 

 

 

3 C. water

 

1 ½ T. salt

 

8 C. flour

 

¾ C. butter (melted)

 

½ C. dry milk

 

2 ½ T. yeast

 

½ C. sugar

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Meat Filling:

 

 

 

2 lb. hamburger

 

½ t. pepper

 

2 small onions chopped

 

1 C. ketchup

 

6 C. chopped cabbage

 

½ lb. velveeta cheese

 

1 t. salt

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

Bread:

Mix all ingredients, and kneed for 10 minutes.  Cover and let rise till doubled.  Divide into smaller balls.  Roll out to ¼ - 1/3 in. thickness.  Cut into 4 in. squares.  Use 1/3 cup meat filling in center.  Pull up corners.  Seal.  Manipulate shape into a circle.

 

Meat:

Brown hamburger & onions in large skillet.  Drain meat.  Return to skillet, add remaining ingredients and cook over medium heat until cabbage is wilted and cheese is melted.  Cool completely.
