3/4 C. water (boiling)

 

1 1/2 C. flour

 

3/4 C. dark karo

 

1/2 C. brown sugar

 

1/2 t. soda

 

1/4 C. butter

 

 

 

1/2 t. salt

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

Mix together "top" ingredients to form a crumb mixture.  Mix together "bottom" ingredients to form  liquid mixture.  Cover bottom of crust with liquid then add crumbs to cover the liquid, them liquid, then crumbs and then end with liquid.  Bake at 375 F. for 35 minutes.
