BLUEBERRY BUCKLE

INGREDIENTS:

¾ C. sugar

 

¼ C. shortening

 

2 eggs

 

½ C. milk

 

1 ½ t. salt

 

2 t. baking powder

 

1 ½ C. flour

 

¼ t. cloves (ground)

 

½ t. nutmeg

 

2 C. blueberries

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

Mix shortening, sugar, eggs, and milk until well blended.  Stir in dry ingredients, fold in blueberries.  Spread in a greased 9” pan.  Combine ½ cup sugar, 1/3 cup flour, ½ t. cinnamon, 1/3 cup butter until crumbly

Sprinkle over batter.  Bake at 375 F. for 45-50 minutes.
